One Month To Go: Of Blood & Aether releases April 17.
Signed paperbacks are available for pre-order now.
Oh hi! Long time no see. Itβs me again, popping in your inbox with the latest news about the Harbingers series.
The past couple weeks have been surreal. While my Street Team got early access to e-ARCs of Of Blood & Aether, we went wide last week via my partnership with The Nerd Fam, sending out even more advanced reader copies to help the Harbingers series find her audience.
I am absolutely astounded by the support that this little book of my heart has received so far. And only feeling the teensiest amount of pressure to get my ass back to drafting Book Two ;)
Because, excuse my french, but β holy shit.
Weird flex, Harper β Yeah, I know. But this book is two years & four months of blood, sweat & tears in the making. And Iβm proud of myself! I am a seasick, swimming combination of grateful, proud, and absolutely terrified for the month to come, but in the end, itβs the readers who make this all worth it. The people reaching out, saying they feel seen by Arken, that their heart aches for Kieran, that they want Book Two in their hands immediately. Day by day, itβs you all who are making my dreams come true, and I cannot thank you enough.
In other news, for those of yβall who have been asking where you can acquire a signed physical copy of the book, I got my Etsy set up this week. If youβd like to receive a paperback signed by yours truly within the first week of launch or so, I recommend pre-ordering here!
All signed paperbacks will come with bonus goodies such as art prints & stickers, and personalization is available if you wish.
Please note that regular, unsigned paperbacks will also be available on Amazon at release on April 17th, but cannot be pre-ordered at this time. E-books can be pre-ordered here!
To everyone who has pre-ordered thus far: thank you so much! I hit my first big goal yesterday, and Iβm still very much in my feelies about that. Thank you for taking a chance on me & my debut.
As far as progress goes on the Book Two front, we are chugginβ along, folks.
Harbingers, Book Two is a very different beast than Book One, and Iβve been simmering with it on the back burner for the last few months, marinating in the vibes and feelings as I focused most of my efforts on this first bookβs launch. The scenes that are starting to materialize for me now are more intense, much more visceral than what I initially outlined, and truth be told? That excites me.
In Book Two, weβll meet our third and final protagonist of the series: Viktor de Laurent. Through Viktorβs POV, weβll learn so much more about the realm of Aemos, the political systems & strife in Atlas, and explore themes of power, recovery, and hope as distant threats continue to creep closer. And yes, there will be plenty of angst to come β in case yβall havenβt figured that out, this is sort of my brand as an author ;)
Iβm hoping to have a first draft ready by fall this year, so for those interested in beta reading, keep an eye out around then. Iβll be sure to shoot out some email blasts & social posts to gauge interest when the time comes.
In the meantime, take care, yβall. I cannot wait for April. I cannot believe Iβm about to become a published author.
I would ask someone to pinch me, but itβs St. Patrickβs Day and Iβm wearing green, soβ¦
Cheers, my friends.
With all the love in the Aetherverse,
Harper
Aaaaah!!! SHE'S ALMOST HERRRRE! Getting to watch everyone else fall in love with these characters that I've gotten to know so well is amazing, and I'm so happy that others relate to them so much π₯Ί
I cannot WAIT for everyone to get to meet the LOML (Lord of my life) in book 2π
